Complaints and Suggestions

We try at all times to provide a service to the highest standard. If you wish to make a comment or complaint this should be made to the Practice Manager initially in writing. You will receive a response within 10 days. Alternatively, you may ask for an appointment with the Practice Manager in order to discuss your concerns. He/she will explain the complaints procedure to you and will make sure that your concerns are dealt with promptly. It will be a great help if you are as specific as possible about your complaint.

What we shall do
We shall acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days and aim to have looked into the complaint within 10 working days of the date when you raised it with us. We shall then be in a position to offer you an explanation, or a meeting with the people involved. When we look into your complaint, we shall aim to:

- Find out what happened and what went wrong.
- Make it possible for you to discuss the problem with those concerned, if you would like this.
- Make sure you receive an apology, where this is appropriate.
- Identify what we can do to make sure the problem doesn’t happen again.

If you are unhappy at that point you can arrange to come in and discuss the problem further with a Doctor and/or Practice Manager, you also have the right to take the complaint to the Health Commissioner.

8:00am – 1:00pm and 2:00 – 6:30pm

Tuesday
8:00am -1:00pm and 2:00 – 7:20pm

Wednesday – Friday
8:00am – 1:00pm and 2:00 – 6:30pm

Reception is closed between 1pm and 2pm.
Patients are still able to phone the surgery at these times to book appointments.
